Audencia (https://www.audencia.com/) invites applications for a position as an Academic Developer in Information Systems and Supply Chain Management. The position is for a full-time, non-fixed term contract and is based in Nantes.

Position requirements

We are looking for candidates specialized in information systems, preferably with a focus on supply chain digitalization issues. Applicants shall hold a Master Degree or MBA and have a significant professional experience in the field of information systems and/or supply chain management. They should demonstrate strong teaching skills with experience at graduate, post-graduate and/or executive education levels in English. Proficiency of French language is required.

In line with our school’s strategic axes, we particularly welcome candidates whose teaching areas include digital transformation, data management and SRM. Notions in cybersecurity would be appreciated. Demonstrated ability to coordinate educational programmes such as MSc, Master or Bachelor Degree Specializations as well as networking experience with the corporate world would be an asset.

Position overview

The Academic Developer position enables professionals with extensive experience to join the faculty.

The new faculty member will join our Department of Information Systems and Supply Chain Management. The department consists of 17 permanent faculty members. The research and the courses offered in the department encompass mainly digital technology and sustainable supply chains. We have developed 4 main axes: 1) Sustainable Supply Chains and Responsible data management, 2) Emerging Information Technologies, 3) Digital Transformation in Businesses and Supply Chains and 4) Procurement and Supply Chain Management. We aim at developing more content in these areas, and develop partnerships with companies. In the short term, the position includes activities such as teaching, responsibility of a program in supply chain management (in French), and participation to the chair activities. Other program responsibilities may emerge in the future.
